Tuesday, 01 | 22 | 2013: Kickboard USA!!
I was running SO LATE for my day job, but I HAD to look at my email. What did I see? Stephanie from
Kickboard USA replied to my product review request! I was so jazzed, since her company’s reply was
the very first one! Welcome to HPV World, Stephanie. You must be FREEZING right now, but it’s a
balmy 50 outside in Vegas today. We are going to have a blast reviewing your gear! Two (sometimes
three) wheels, two feet, too cool!
Monday, 01 | 21 | 2013: Oatmeal with Flax and a Scoot
My mornings usually consist of computer games, television, and couch time. I woke up early enough
to at least get out a few minutes on the Kickbike. What is happening to me? Am I starting a new
healthy lifestyle? How many hundreds of times have I started, then stopped? Nope, this time, it’s
personal. This time, I’m not giving up. This morning, I will kick. Two wheels, two feet, too tired?
Sunday, 01 | 20 | 2013: New Website starting!
The website is now alive! If you have a store, company, or you are a group of scooter riders,
skateboard riders, or foot-drive riders, send us your info. We’ll be happy to blog about it.
Also, I want to stress that companies can join FOR FREE, right now, with links, pics and video links.
Companies can also have videos produced AT NO CHARGE, of their factory, interviews and reviewing
their products.
HPV World wants to get people on scooters. I think the world will have less stress and more smiles
every time we get a new convert. I hope to help spread the world. Two wheels, two feet, too cool..
Sunday, 01 | 20 | 2013: Towards a More Perfect Union
Website blog post: working towards a more perfect union. I can’t describe the excitement I felt
when I went to the skatepark, and realized that this overweight 52 year old guy can have some
extreme (not quite yet, but just wait!) fun. I rode my yellow Kickbike, complete with basket, into
Morrell Skatepark and rode some of the hits. I found out that I really want a 20” tire version of a
scooter to ride parks with a much shorter wheel base, and a little more clearance. But, as a whole,
the experience was very positive.
I realized that parents could now consider riding with their kids. A scooter is not just a toy anymore,
and my mission in life is to unite kids and parents. What kid wouldn’t want to drop in together, with
a parent, into a bowl or half-pipe?
My nephew is a tournament surfer, and goes surfing regularly with his kids. Getting easy-to-ride
scooters for adults, with air tires, will go ballistic! At least they’ll smile a lot more when asked to
ferry the kids to and from the park.
